Extreme cold temperaturs and snow is heading our way. Arrangements have been made to use the Medway Grapeville and New Baltimore Firehouses as warming stations on an as-needed basis from Saturday afternoon to Monday morning in case of power outages or other emergency situations. Please call Alan at (518)567-4961 if you or someone you know require these services and he will make arrangements for you. Please bring something to help pass the time and a phone charger should you need one. Please stay safe!

The Town Board of the Town of New Baltimore will hold the 2026 Organizational Meeting on January 5, 2026 at 6 PM at Town Hall, 3809 County Route 51, Hannacroix, NY 12087.

NOTICE AND RECEIPT OF TAX ROLL AND WARRANT

TAKE NOTICE that I, the undersigned Town Clerk of the Town of New Baltimore, Greene County, New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes for the year 2026, and that I will receive taxes as follows: January 1 through July 31 at the New Baltimore Town Hall: Monday through Friday 9:00 am- 4:00 pm, Saturday, January 10, 9:00 am-12 noon. Property tax payments may also be made at The National Bank of Coxsackie: Ravena Branch (Faith Plaza, US Rte 9W, Ravena) or West Coxsackie Branch (US Rte 9W, West Coxsackie). On taxes remaining unpaid after 1/31/2026 there shall be added one percent for February or the remainder thereof; two percent for March; three percent for April; four percent for May; five percent for June; six percent for July; and seven percent for August at which time the return of unpaid taxes is made by the collector to the Greene County Treasurer pursuant to law. There will be flushing of manholes in Sewer District #1 on Wednesday, October 29 beginning at 9AM. 

The Town of New Baltimore is currently seeking a Sexton to manage the routine operations of cemeteries owned by the Town of New Baltimore to be paid $125 per grave opening, $125 cremains internment, and $25 Monument Permit Review per standard graves. The successful candidate shall be responsible for compliance with all laws, rules and regulations involving labor, hours of labor, health and safety, and working conditions and shall be solely responsible for payment of all federal, state, and local taxes.

There will be a public information session with Mary Beth Bianconi from Delaware Engineering for residents of Water District 2 regarding an update to the water main replacement project. It will be held Wednesday, October 29 at 7 PM at Town Hall, 3809 County Route 51 in Hannacroix.
